Dr. Matthew Bills, OD, FAAO, Dipl ABO, was raised in Southern California and Utah. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Brigham Young University–Idaho before pursuing his Doctor of Optometry degree at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. Graduating summa cum laude and ranking in the top 10% of his class, Dr. Bills distinguished himself as a dedicated and accomplished student.
During his academic journey, Dr. Bills received multiple awards for clinical excellence and was recognized for his significant contributions to optometric research. His enthusiasm for advancing the field led him to establish and serve as the inaugural president of the Ocular Disease Club at the Southern College of Optometry.
Dr. Bills is board-certified by the American Board of Optometry and holds the prestigious titles of Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry. A dedicated researcher, he has shared his findings and delivered presentations at state and national conferences.
Dr. Bills completed a residency with the Cherokee Nation in Oklahoma, specializing in ocular disease and primary care. He also has extensive experience in fitting specialty contact lenses, providing tailored solutions for patients with unique vision needs.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Dr. Bills enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. He is an avid reader and loves playing board games in his free time.
